Independent Technology Advice

An independent perspective when the technology decision matters

I help business leaders evaluate technology choices, vendor recommendations, projects, and AI with an independent perspective focused on what makes sense for the business.

What I Help With

Vendor Decisions

Review proposals, compare options, and make sure the recommendation fits the business need.

Systems & Technology

Evaluate infrastructure, software, cloud services, and technology choices without being tied to a product or vendor.

Projects

Help clarify scope, ownership, risks, and next steps when a technology project needs direction.

AI & Automation

Identify practical opportunities where AI or automation can improve work without forcing technology where it does not belong.

Technology Second Opinion

Facing an important technology decision? I provide an independent second opinion so you can move forward with confidence. I can review proposals, compare options, question assumptions, and help you understand whether the recommendation makes sense for your business.

I do not sell hardware, software, managed services, or a particular platform. My role is to sit on your side of the table and help you make the right decision for your business.

Why Work With Patrick

I work particularly well with owner-led and growing organizations that need experienced technology perspective but may not have senior technology leadership of their own.

Independent Perspective

I do not sell hardware, software, managed services, or a specific platform. My job is to help you evaluate the decision, not steer you toward a product.

Business and Technical Experience

I have spent decades working across technology strategy, systems, vendors, projects, infrastructure, and software development, with a focus on what makes sense for the business.

Clear Next Steps

Good advice should reduce uncertainty. My goal is to help you understand the options, the tradeoffs, and what should happen next.

About Patrick

I have spent my career helping businesses make technology work in the real world. I started on the technical side, moved into systems and network management, then into project leadership, vendor management, software development, and executive technology responsibility.

As my responsibilities grew, I became the person people looked to not just to understand the technology, but to decide what made sense for the business.

Insights

Practical thoughts on technology decisions, vendor relationships, projects, systems, and AI for business leaders who want to make better-informed choices.

Have a technology decision you want a second opinion on?
